I have been sooooo busy! Making and making and making... for this boutique I did at my friend's home! I made lots of fun stuff and my sister, Rebecca, and Mother sent some fun things too! It was this past Saturday and I earned about a hundred bucks... not bad for my first boutique! I plan on selling the rest of the stuff on eBay... so keep a look out there if you want anything!

Jeanne's Five for $5

My Downline, Jeanne, hosted a $5 for 5 and I was lucky to attend and make all her fun cards!! Here's her post about the cards she made -everything she wrote is in red! (I added my own photos!)  You MUST go check out her blog at http://happy-jeannie.blogspot.com/!!
These are the cards I designed for my $5 for 5 card demonstration Thursday night! (It's been a couple of Thursdays since I went but time just flies!...)

Thanksgiving Card:

Basecard – Kraft CS 8 ½ x 5 ½, score @ 4 ¼

Pumpkin Pie CS 3 x 3

Kraft CS 2 ¾ x 2 ¾

(4) 1/8” circle punches of Pumpkin Pie CS as “brads”

Scrap piece of PP CS to stamp on

Give Thanks SU turkey stamp

Stamp on scrap cardstock in Versamark ink, then heat emboss with gold powder. Punch out image with SU scallop square punch.
Punch Kraft square with SU scallop border punch. Turn punch over to see the bottom of the punch, and put the cardstock in all the way and center it, then punch. Do this on the remaining three sides.
Adhere turkey square onto the Kraft square, and then adhere that onto the larger orange square and place on the upper half of the card. If you’d like, use the SU marker in Pumpkin Pie to do some “doodling” on the Kraft section.
Stamp the SU Wandering Words stamp on the lower half of card in Pumpkin Pie classic ink.

Cardinal Christmas Card:

White base card 8 ½ x 5 ½, scored at 4 ¼

Red designer paper, used for top note die cut

Black card stock, cut in scalloped oval

White/silver/confetti vellum, cut into oval, then use Cuttlebug snowflake embossing folder

Scrap piece of white CS

Red modern label punch out

2 black brads
Cardinal:
Red 1 ¾” circle punch, cut top off at an angle for body
Red 1 3/8” circle punch, cut in half, for lower half of wing
Red, 1 scallop circle punch, cut off 5 scallops, for upper half wing
Red, 2 word window punches, for tail feathers
Brown, Boho flower punch, two small scallops, for feet
Black, ½ WW punch, for eye area
Yellow, Triangle, beak

Adhere red DP top note on the center front of your base card. Adhere oval vellum on the black CS, then attach both on the center of the top note.
Assemble cardinal. Glue black word window punch where you want the eye area to be. Trim off excess along curve of circle punch. Use white gel pen to draw on eye. Glue scallop circle on top of the ½ circle punch, matching straight edges. Use pop dots to attach to body. Glue tail feathers (word window punches) on to the back of body. Glue on feet and beak.
Stamp “Merry Christmas” on scrap white CS from SU Teeny Tiny Wishes set. Punch out with word window punch and adhere to red modern label punch out. Trim with black brads and attach to card with pop dots.

Gold Foil Christmas Tree Card:

Soft Suede CS 8 ½ x 5 ½, scored at 4 ¼

Designer paper front 3 ¾ x 5 ¼

Designer paper inside trim, ¾ x 5 ½

Soft Suede polka dot ribbon 16 ½ “

Metallic gold foil, Cuttlebug Christmas tree folder, cut out tree

Adhere strip on the inside, right edge of card. Stamp “Merry Christmas” from the Holiday Best SU hostess set, on the inside of card. Use scallop border punch on the right side of the front card edge. Glue designer paper to front cover, centering on all edges. Attach ribbon on the left side of card. Using pop dots, attach embossed tree.

Mosaic Christmas Card:

Sticky paper 2 1/8 x 5 ½

Bashful blue designer paper, cut into random geometric shapes

Arrange designer paper pieces on sticky paper, giving even space between pieces. Trim edges to match sticky paper when finished. Put silver embossing powder on piece, then brush off excess off ds pieces. Heat emboss. Let cool a minute, then tie on ribbon at the top.
Use bashful blue classic ink to stamp on right side of card front, using SU Serene Snowflakes set. Glue on mosaic strip on the left side of card front. Stamp Season’s Greetings from SU Snow Swirled set, then punch out with scalloped oval punch. Adhere scallop punch to silver vellum punch. Use pop dots to adhere greeting to card front.

- scored at 1”, 2 ¾”, 3 ¾”, 5 1/2”, then turn to other side and score at 1”, 2 ¾ “, 3 ¾”.

- Cut slit on the 5 ½” score line, 3 ¼” long, centered on the score line.

- Put sticky strip on both bottom edges (4 ¼” side)

- Stamp snowflakes (SU Serene Snowflakes) on the top side of card stock.

- Use bone folder to fold on score lines.

Insert card:
Always artichoke 5 ½” x 3”
Whisper white 5” x 2 ¾”

On white cs stamp Christmas tree (always artichoke ink) & star (summer sun ink) with SU Snow Swirled set. Sponge edges with ruby red ink, then attach to always artichoke cs. Use Dazzling Diamond glitter on star and snowflakes on the tree with a two way glue pen.
Push insert card up from the bottom, through the long strip’s slit. Attach bottom of insert to the sticky strip along front edge, matching edges precisely and centering. Then attach back half’s sticky strip to the back edge of insert and front edge, matching edges precisely. Push down on strip to pop up card.
Cut whisper white CS for the front edge of card: 4” x 1 ¾” (on left side), ¾” high on the right side. Sponge edges in ruby red ink. Stamp greeting on the upper left hand side in ruby red. Punch hole on CS where you want to attach red felt snowflake; attach with a silver brad. Glue CS on to card front. Tie on always artichoke ribbon to the lower card front and tuck under snowflake.

Sorry they're not in order... but here are my photos!!
