Card Box

I made this fun box for my little sister for Christmas to hold a bunch of my homemade cards! I think she's gonna love it! She loves cherries! I used the Stampin' Up! cherries DSP (thanks Jeanne!) and some fun red striped DSP for the edges. The ribbons make it look so cute! I cut the "cards" out with my Cricut and the cherry stamp is from the Tart and Tangy stamp set stamped with Real Red and Old Olive! I love the scallop circle punch and it makes the little medallion look so adorable! What do ya think? Think she'll like it!?! I hope so! The blank white lunchbox was from Oriental Trading... Love them!

November Five for $5

My November Five for $5 was a lot of fun and we put together these five fabulous Christmas cards! I had a lot of fun designing them and more fun making them with friends! Check them out!
This one used the Season of Friendship stamp set, Close to Cocoa ink, Real Red ink, Bashful Blue and Ballet Blue ink along with Close to Cocoa card and white paper, Bashful Blue DSP and the paper piercing template from the Mat Pack. What makes it special is the Dazzling Diamonds glitter that I sprinkled here and there on the snowflakes! Cute and versatile, this card could work for Christmas or New Years!
This card used the Delightful Decorations stamp set and matching Ornament punch. I stamped three ornaments in Real Red ink and then punched them out, folded them in half and glued them together to form the 3D ornament. The brown scroll stamp is from the Baroque Motifs stamp set, in Close to Cocoa ink. The Merry Christmas is from the Teeny Tiny Wishes set stamped in Close to Cocoa ink. The crimped paper is Handsome Hunter and the card face is Crushed Curry. The card base is white. This is great because it folds flat to mail and then pops up to make a statement when it's free from the envelope! Fun!

On this card, I used silver embossing powder to emboss the ornament topper from the Sweet Centers stamp set. Then I punched a 1 3/4" circle with the punch from retired DSP and popped it up with a Stampin' Dimensional. The sentiment is from Teeny Tiny Wishes stamped in Bravo Burgundy and I cut the Top Note from Garden Green with Jeanne's Big Shot! The red is an old retired color (Cranberry Crisp) that I was trying to use up and the card base is white.

These cute snowmen and sentiment are from a Hostess set - The More the Merrier - stamped in Real Red ink. I colored their scarves and hats with chalk and the blender pens. I crimped a piece of Kraft cardstock to put behind the white cardstock. The red gingham ribbon is a nice touch, stapled to the white. I stamped a snowflake from the Holiday Blitz set with Real Red ink on the Real Red card. The scallop punch maked for a darling edge with a white strip pasted along behind it for contrast! Easy!

Here was a fun way to use the Sweet Treat cups! I filled them with chunky white and silver glitter and used the Two Cool Dudes set as the inside, stamped in Real Red ink. The snowflake from the Season of Friendship set is stamped in Glorious Green ink on the Glorious Green card front. The sentiment, from Two Cool Dudes, is stamped in Close to Cocoa ink on Close to Cocoa paper and I punched the red strip with the Eyelet border punch. The white snowflake is an ancient punch I've had for ages and I'm not sure where it's from, but it's NOT Stampin' Up! The card is just pasted together and makes for a really fun version of a shaker card! I love the new Sweet Treat cups and the matching Sweet Centers stamp set! So fun!
