I saw a great idea online and decided to try it for a Christmas present for my sis. I sent my hubby to the store to purchase me a plate and he came back with this gorgeous square one with a great black stand (Walmart!!). To spruce it up a bit, I placed some vinyl flowers at the bottom and some rub-ons to accent it. Then I attached the dry erase marker and Voila!! Great quick gift that I know she'll use as a fun memo station! :)

12 Pack of Notecards!
I made a twelve pack of notecards for a party gift - 2 each in six color combinations. I had a lot of fun creating them using my new Christmas present a little early (more on that after Christmas!!) and stitching on them with my sewing machine! Very cool!
I used Crumb Cake for the base cards on all of them. Then I used an old Designer Series Paper Pack to cut the strips to stitch on. I had my sewing machine out for another project, so I just zig-zagged the paper to the cards. Then I used my Christmas present...hee hee!... to make the solid decorative square behind the Curly Label punch which I had punched from Whisper White and stamped a cute silhouette from the Pocket Silhouettes set in Crumb Cake ink. Very simple and great for a fun notecard set! :)

Merry Pillow
Every year we exchange names and do a Christmas Decoration for the families on my husband's side. It is a lot of fun! This pillow was what I made this year for one of Chris' new neices! I think it turned out really cute and it was such a simple and fun project! (Which is about all I can do right now with homeschool and this pregnancy!!) I cut the circles from various fabric and then sewed them to the pillow front, stitched the word Merry and added the tree base. Then, I sewed it into a pillow and stuffed it! Now I need to make me one!! :)
